Talca

From May 12-18, we based ourselves in Talca, Chile, the gateway to the southern wine region of the country. Our focus here was to visit some of these wineries. Most of the wineries near Talca are in the Maule Valley region. Not having a car made it difficult to reach most of the wineries. We visited Invina Vineyard in San Rafael (northwest of Talca) first three photos, Casa Mesa Bozzolo (just southwest of Talca), next three photos along with Gillmore (last photo).

The three photos above are from Invina and the following three are from Bozollo. The final one is from Gillmore.

We definitely enjoyed our visit to these wineries. Invina and Gillmore were most gracious with their wine during the post tour tastings. After Talca, we headed back toward Santiago which would eventually include more winery visits.
