Minca to El Dorado - The Road from Hell Colombia 2020

The guide picked us up at 3:30 in the morning. We made our first stop at about 6:30 AM. That three hour drive was over one of the roughest roads I have ever had the pleasure of bouncing across. While we did not go into the El Dorado Reserve, we made an interesting stop or two on the way. We then parked just outside the reserve and walked up a steep incline for several more hours of serious birding. The views and birding were both outstanding.
