On March 9, we visited Isla Corea in Loreto, Peru. The island is located across the Amazon from Calanoa Lodge. Our guide knew that it was a hotspot for various macaw species - along with a few others. The "noise" was incredible.

Another cruise through Quebrada Matamatá on the Colombian side.
Macaw heaven! As noisy as they are, I still love them. I also really like this cream-colored woodpecker. All of these places are like Disneyland for birders.
The photos of the maccas and other birds are just simply amazing. A great photographer.😎😍
