A few final photos from the Galápagos - from the catamaran and the scenery in route and on the island.
In the photo below, our catamaran is on the right.
On March 14, we ended our memorable journey in the Galápagos Islands. We flew on Avianca airlines from the airport on Baltra, the small island just north of Isla Santa Cruz (which interestingly had served as a U.S. outpost during World War II), back to Guayaquil on the Ecuadorian coast. My three days in Guayaquil were uneventful and not worth a blog post. Disappointing, in fact, and I would recommend skipping it. On March 17, I flew to Bogotá, Colombia where I met Isabel in preparation for our next adventure - Los Llanos!
Una vista increíble! Muy diferente.
